• You have to carry the weight of the backpack and all your luggage.
• Most backpacks are not designed to be secured with locks.
• Cheaper backpacks may not withstand many air travel trips before coming apart.
• They are not waterproof. Some backpacks include a waterproof liner, but in other cases, you may need to purchase it separately.
• Usually, you can only store and retrieve your clothes from the top of the backpack.
